Finishing!

Done! It fits! this is the first sweater I have made for myself that is truly wearable. I have been wearing it at home and at work; its light but warm. Knitting it was a real pain though; this must be the worst pattern ever. Like everyone else, I found that the charts are wrong, the directions are wrong...everything about the pattern was wrong. Except the photo. I just looked at the photo and made it from that. I had to rip the shoulder shaping (and many other parts) but I made it work. I bossed my knitting around!

Specs:
Jacket in Apricot from Rebbecca Magazine, smallest size
9 balls of Rowan Cork, bought on sale at lettuce Knit in Fall of 2005
Begun.....Fall 2006? finished February 2007.
16 st/4 on size 7 needles
Vintage buttons (mismatched, but similar) from jar bought at local thrift store

Against all odds...I did it!
